HUBUNGAN PERAN SUAMI DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN IBU BERSALIN DI BIDAN PRAKTEK SWASTA DESA SUMBER SEKAR KECAMATAN DAU MALANG

Abstract

Ada peningkatan tingkat kecemasan ibu yang akan menjalani proses persalinan. Hal ini akan menyebabkan perlambatan proses persalinan sehingga beresiko terhadap keselamatan ibu dan bayi. Dukungan suami diperlukan selama proses persalinan karena adanya dukungan suami dapat meningkatkan produksi hormon oksitosin yang mampu meningkatkan kontraksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran suami dengan tingkat kecemasan ibu bersalin di Bidan Praktek Swasta Desa Sumber Sekar Kecamatan Dau Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 16 orang ibu bersalin yang didampingi oleh suaminya. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji Spearman Rank (p< 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar peran suami telah tergolong dalam kategori baik (62,5%) sedangkan tingkat kecemasan ibu tergolong dalam kategori tidak cemas (56,3%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan kuat antara peran suami dengan tingkat kecemasan ibu bersalin. Semakin baik peran suami dalam proses persalinan maka akan semakin rendah pula kecemasan yang terjadi pada saat ibu bersalin.

ABSTRACT

There is an increase of mothers’ anxiety levels that will undergo the process of childbirth. This will lead to a slowing of the labor process, thus putting the mother and baby at risk of safety. Husband support is necessary during labor due to the increase of oxytocin hormone production that can increase contraction. This study aims to determine the relationship between the roles of husbands with maternal anxiety level in Private Practice Midwife Sumber Sekar Dau Malang. This research is an observational research. The sample of research was 16 labor mothers accompanied by her husband. Data were obtained using questionnaire, then analyzed by Spearman Rank test (p <0.05). The result of the research shows that most of husband role have been categorized in good category (62.5%) whereas mother's anxiety level is categorized as no anxiety (56.3%). The result of statistical tests shows a strong relationship between the roles of the husband with maternal anxiety level. The better role of the husband in the process of labor will lower the anxiety that occurs at the time of giving birth.
