ANALISIS DAMPAK BERMAIN PLAYSTATION TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR ANAK KELAS 4-6 SDN LANDUNGSARI 01 KECAMATAN DAU KABUPATEN MALANG
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Playstation games are a form of play that uses graphics and vision that results in addiction to children and can trigger negative behaviors such as stealing money to buy new games, skipping school, lazy doing homework (PR), or feeling uneasy when unable to play games. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of playing Playstation on the learning achievements of elementary school students in grades 4-6 in Landungsari I Elementary School, Dau District, Malang Regency. The research design used by researchers is comparative with a retrospective approach. The population in this study were 586 students of grade 4-6 SDN Landungsari I and the total sample used was sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used is the Mann-Whitney U Test using SPu5SS. The results of the study showed that most of the students who played playstation were 37 students (63.79%), most were stated to get excellent grades (86-100) as many as 28 students (48.28%), the Mann-Whitney U Test test results were obtained the value of Sig or p value = 0.000 α (0.05). There is a difference in learning achievement between those who play with those who do not play Playstation in children from grades 4 to 6 at SDN Landungsari I, Dau District, Malang Regency.
