PENGARUH PEMBERIAN ’’PUYER HERBAL” TERHADAP BOBOT PANEN, NEKROSIS USUS HALUS, DAN pH USUS HALUS PADA AYAM BROILER

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different levels of herbs powder to the on slaughter weight, intestinal necrosis, and pH Intestine in broiler chickens, as well as to obtain ideal herbs powder level for broiler chickens. The feed used BR1 for 1-7 days old and feed formulations for 8-35 days old consist of: yellow corn, pollard, meat meal, soybean meal, salt, DL-Metionin and lysine.
Method P0 : feed formulation without herbs powder, P1 : feed formulation + 0.3% herbs powder, P2: feed formulation + 0.6% herbs powder, P3 : feed formulation + 0.9% herbs powder. The herbs powder administration based on weekly body weight. This research method used Completely Random Design with 4 treatments and 4 replications.
The results showed that the administration of herbs powder with different levels significantly affected (P<0.05) on the average slaughter weight was around 1339.15 g to 1457.25 g, the highest value was on P3 1457.25 g each chicken with 0.9% herbs powder administration. Intestine necrosis had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the treatment of herbs powder. The lowest value of intestine necrosis was found in P3 treatment with 0.9% level of herbs powder and the value was 10%. The pH intestine did not effect (P>0.05) by the administration of herbs powder. The results of pH intestine ranged from 6.5 to 7.2.


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberian puyer herbal dengan level berbeda terhadap Bobot Panen, Nekrosis Usus Halus, dan pH Usus Halus pada ayam broiler, serta untuk mendapatkan level puyer herbal ideal bagi ayam broiler. Pakan yang digunakan adalah BR1 untuk umur 1-7 hari dan pakan formulasi untuk umur 8-35 hari terdiri dari: jagung kuning, pollard, tepung daging, bungkil kedele, garam, DL-Metionin dan lisin.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancang Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan P0 : pakan formulasi tanpa puyer herbal, P1: pakan formulasi+puyer herbal 0,3%, P2:pakan formulasi+puyer herbal 0,6%, P3:pakan formulasi+puyer herbal 0,9%. Pemberian puyer herbal berdasarkan bobot badan mingguan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian puyer herbal dengan level berbeda berpengaruh yang nyata (P<0,05) terhadap rataan bobot panen ayam broiler 1339,15 g/ekor sampai 1457,25 g/ekor, nilai tertinggi terdapat pada P3 1457,25 g/ekor dengan level puyer herbal 0,9%. Nekrosis usus halus berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap perlakuan puyer herbal. Nilai terendah nekrosis usus halus terdapat pada perlakuan P3 dengan level puyer herbal 0,9% yaitu 10%. pH usus halus tidak menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap pemberian puyer herbal. Hasil pH usus halus berkisar antara 6,5- 7,2.
