PENGARUH LATIHAN KARATE TERHADAP KONSEP DIRI PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS IV - VI DI SDN 01 LANDUNGARI KECAMATAN DAU KABUPATEN MALANG
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Karate can be useful for building confidence, determination, focus, and physical fitness, beliefs, and convictions that are values that a child knows about himself and influencing relationships with others including the character, values, ideas, goals, with the child's self concept. This research aims to know the influence of Karate Exercises Against the concept of school-aged children on the basis of Class IV-IVI in SDN 01 Landungsari Kecamatan Dau Malang. A Case-Control study design by using total sampling of 20 people who follow the practice of karate and 20 people who did not enter karate. Analysis of the data used is Paired Sample T Test value α = 0,05. Research, there all children who follows exercise couldhave self-concept adaptive about 20 people ( 100 % ) and mostly children not follow exercise karate concept adaptive having twelve people ( 60 % ). The result of bivariat analysis shows Sig 2-tailed of 0 000 with α = 0,05 so a sig 2-tailed Sig (2- tailed) < α, Means; there is significant influence between exercise karate against self-concept on child iv grade - vi in smpn 01 landungsari dau sub-district malang. Suggestion that can be recommended to researchers analyzed factors - another factor affecting formation self-concept in children aged elementary school.
