GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU NIFAS TENTANG PERAWATAN PAYUDARA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SEI KELAMBU KABUPATEN SAMBAS KALIMANTAN BARAT

Abstract

Masa nifas dimulai setelah kelahiran sampai enam mingguberikutnya, disertai dengan pulihnya kembali organ reproduksi seperti keadaansebelum hamil. Perawatan payudara setelah melahirkan dimulai sedini mungkin yaitu satu atau dua hari sesudah bayi lahir. Pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan payudara sangat diperlukan karena pada masa ini banyak terjadi masalah seperti puting lecet, pembengkakan payudara, saluran susu tersumbat, infeksi dan puting tertarik kedalam. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menggambarkan pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan payudara. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif. Sampel sebanyak 28 orang diperoleh melalui teknikaccidental sampling. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan tingkat pengetahuan ibu postpartum tentang perawatan payudara setelah melahirkan (postpartum) masih tergolong rendah yakni sebesar 75%, 39,29% berpengetahuan kurang dan 35,71% berpengetahuan tidak baik. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleg faktor internal meliputi usia ibu, pendidikan terakhir, jenis pekerjaan, dan riwayat melahirkan maupun faktor eksternal meliputi ketersediaan informasi dan sosial budaya.

ABSTRACT

The puerperium begins after birth until the next six weeks, accompanied by the recovery of the reproductive organs such as the condition before pregnancy. Breast care after childbirth begins as early as possible, one or two days after the baby is born. Postpartum mothers' knowledge of breast care is very necessary because at this time there are many problems such as nipple blisters, breast swelling, blocked milk ducts, infections and nipples pulled in. The purpose of this study is to describe the knowledge of postpartum mothers about breast care. This research is classified as descriptive research. A sample of 28 people was obtained through accidental sampling technique. Data obtained using a questionnaire. The results of the study illustrate the level of postpartum mothers' knowledge about breast care after delivery (postpartum) is still relatively low at 75%, 39.29% was categorized as lack and 35.71 was categorized as not good. This can be influenced by internal factors including mothers’age, last education, type of work, and history of childbirth as well as external factors including the availability of information and socio-cultural condition.
