EFEKTIVITAS LATIHAN POSITIVE SELF TALK TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN EMOSI MARAH REMAJA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Adolescent has ekspression of emotionally labile. Emotion too much anger can grow some problems other means, cursing, rampaging, fighting, killing, internal troble and disstres. Positive self talk training is an speaking positively exercise anger emotions management useful and supportive. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of positive self talk training on the anger management of angry adolescent at Ikmasabda Unitri Malang. This study used a Quasi Experiment design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design, this study used pre test and post test approach. Sample was taken based on random sampling technique with a sample of 28 people consisting of the control group and treatment group. Instrument used is an anger management questionnaire consisting of 29 questions. Data were analyzed using Paride T-test to determine the differences in the anger management in each group and the Independent T-test to determine the differences in the anger management in both groups. The results of the study showed that the mean of anger management increased in the treatment group by 30.5, while in the mean control group the anger management decreased by 1.0. The results of the post-test analysis in the control and treatment groups after being given positive self-talk training obtained a significance value (p = 0.000) so there was an effect of positive self talk training on anger management of adolescent at Ikmasabda Unitri Malang. Suggestions for future researchers are expected to consider giving treatment at the same time so that it can improve the validity of research results and look for the length of time giving positive self talk exercises so that it can improve anger management.
