HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN TOILET TRAINING ANAK USIA 3-6 TAHUN DI TK DHARMA WANITA PERSATUAN TLOGOMAS KELURAHAN TLOGOMAS KECAMATAN LOWOKWARU KOTA MALANG
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Toilet training independence in children is attempt to train children .mother has an important role to teach children independence because mother is the closest figure of the child. The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between knowledge level of independence mother and toilet training independence children in 3-6 years. The research was conducted in dharma wanita persatua kindergarten Tlogomas, Lowokwaru Malang City in February 2018. The population is 42 students, and sample of this study using by purposive sampling technique 30 students. Data collected using questionnaire with Cross sectional approach. The result of this research has a significant relation between knowledge level of mother and toilet training independence children 3-6 years with p-value = 0.027 <α = 0.05 and value of r = 0.404, which indicates a relationship of knowledge level of Mother to self-reliance of toilet training of children aged 3-6 years which means if mother's knowledge level better then independence toilet to child training better and vice versa if mother knowledge level less then independence toilet training for children less good. The results of this study proves that the level of knowledge of mothers have an impact on toilet training in children so indicate a strong correlation. Limitations of this study the difference time of this filling questionnaire in mother and child questionnaire, the less effective time of this study may have an effect on the results of the study. Suggest for the next research is certainly time contract with the family so that the family can focus.
