PENGARUH SKILL PLAY TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK AUTISME USIA 3-6 TAHUN DI LEMBAGA RESTU BUNDA A PLUS PUSAT TERAPI TERPADU (INTEGRATED THERAPY CENTRE)

ABSTRACT
Autism children are children who experience a complex developmental disorder, usually appearing at the age of 1-3 years with impaired comonication of language, cognitive, social and adaptive functions, which affect fine motor. One of the therapies to improve fine motor skills of autistic children is skill play where this therapy is able to provide physical and mental stimulation to autistic children during and after giving. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Skill Play on fine motor development in autistic children aged 3-6 years at the Mother A Plus Restu Institute Integrated Therapy Center. Research design using pre-experiment (One-Group Pre-test post-test Design). The sample of this study were 10 children with total sampling technique. Data collection techniques using instruments in the form of observation sheets of motor components. Data analysis method uses Mann Whitney test. From the results of the study half (50%) had less fine motor development before being given skill play and as much as most (70%) had enough fine motor development after being given skill play. The results of the analysis obtained p value of (0.004)<(0.050), meaning that there was influence after being given Skill Play on fine motor development in autistic children aged 3-6 years at Restu Bunda A Plus Integrated Therapy Center. Based on the results of this study for parents who have children with the condition of autism can provide playground therapy according to the age of the child as an effort in improving children's fine motor. For further researchers it is expected to conduct more in-depth research related to the influence of play skills on fine motor development in children with autism.
