PERBEDAAN PENGETAHUAN GURU SD TENTANG PENANGANAN EPISTAKSIS SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH EDUKASI MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA VIDEO DI KELURAHAN LANDUNGSARI KECMATAN DAU MALANG
Abstract
How to handle epistaxis in society is still diverse and even tends to be left because it is considered a mild problem. This study aims to determine differences in elementary school teacher knowledge about handling epistaxis before and after education using video media. The study design uses one group pre-test and post-test design. The population used was elementary school teachers in the Landungsari Village , Dau Malang District with a sample size of 57 respondents. Samples were taken by cluster sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using thetest Marginal homogeneity with α = 0.05. The results of the study were obtained before being given education using video media, almost half of the respondents had less knowledge (38.6%) and after being educated using video media, almost all respondents had good knowledge (96.5%). Statistical test results obtained p = 0,000, which means there are differences in elementary school teacher's knowledge about epistaxis handling before and after education using video media in the Landungsari Village, Dau Malang District. Submission of material with video media is more easily accepted by lay people in understanding and applying first aid to people who experience epistaxis.
