HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH IBU DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA PADA ANAK PRASEKOLAH
Abstract
Language development is oral language skills in children that develop because of maturity of the speech organs as well as the environment that helps develop it. One of the external factors is environmental factors which can affect language delay is parenting patterns. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother’s parenting patterns with language development in preschool children at TK Advent and Nurul Muslim Malang City. This research usedcross sectional with correlation research design. The population in this study were all mothers and preschool children in TK Advent and TK Nurul Muslim Malang City as many as 60 people, and sampling techniques used byRandom Cluster Sampling. The data analyzed method is spearman rankusing SPSS. The results of the study prove that most of 29 respondents 56.9% of the mother's parenting pattern are sufficient and true most of 29 respondents 56.9% has lack language development. The results of the study there was a significant relationship between mothers parenting pattern andlanguage development, because it was obtained p. 000 and r squared 60.3%. so that there is a relationship between mother’s parenting patterns with language development in peschool children at TK Advent and TK Nurul Malang City. Suggestion for parents especially the mothers of preschool children are expected to be able to care for their children with democratic parenting patterns so can improve language development.
