HUBUNGAN SIKAP REMAJA PUTRI DENGAN PERAN IBU DALAM MENGHADAPI MENARCHE PADA KELOMPOK USIA 12-13 TAHUN DI KELAS VII SMPN 1 DAU MALANG

Abstract

Menstruasi pertama (menarche) merupakan peristiwa pertanda masa subur sudah dimulai pada remaja putri. Normalnya menstruasi terjadi pada usia 11-16 tahun. Pada menstruasi pertama terjadi, muncul bermacam gambaran fantasi yang dibarengi dengan kecemasan dan ketakutan yang tidak riil, yang semuanya dikaitkan dengan masalah perdarahan. Sehingga menarche merupakan pengalaman yang traumatis bagi remaja putri. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan sikap remaja dengan peran ibu dalam menghadapi menarche. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan secara cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 94 responden, sampelnya sebanyak 43 responden dengan menggunakan tehnik “Purposive sampling”. Analisa data menggunakan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian diperoleh data sebagian besar 18 (41,86%) responden mendapatkan peran ibu cukup baik dan sebagian kecil 4 responden (9,30%) mendapatkan peran ibu yang tidak baik. Sedangkan sikapnya sebagian besar 26 responden (60,50%) memiliki sikap favoreble dan sebagian kecil 17 responden (39,5%) bersikap unvaforeble. Analisa data dengan iju Spearman Rank diperoleh koefisien korelasi (ρ value) (0,001) < α (0,05) artinya ada hubungan antara peran ibu dengan sikap remaja putri usia 12-13 tahun dalam menghadapi menarche di SMPN 1 Dau Malang. Saran yang dapat direkomendasikan bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan penelitian ini dapat disempurnakan lagi dengan populasi yang lebih besar dan dengan penambahan metode pengukuran instrumen penelitian berupa pengamatan dan wawancara langsung dengan ibu dan remaja.

ABSTRACT

Menarche as first menstrual period is the most important event in young women as a sign of fertility. Normally menstruation occurs at the age of 11-16 years. At the menarche it appears various fantasy description coupled with anxiety and fear which are not real, those are associated with bleeding problems. So that menarche is a traumatic experience for female adolescents. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between female adolescent’s attitude and mother’s role in facing menarche. This study used correlational design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 94 respondents, samples were 43 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used by Spearman Rank test. The results obtained from the data were 18 respondents (41.86%) got good enough mother’s role and 4 respondents (9.30%) did not get good mother’s role. While for the female adolescent’s attitude of 26 respondents (60.50%) had favorable attitude and 17 respondents (39.5%) were unvaforeble. The data analysis by using Spearman Rank test showed correlation coefficient (ρ value) (0.001)<α(0.05) meaning that there is relationship between female adolescent’s attitude and mother’s role in facing menarche at VII grade of SMPN 1 Dau Malang. Suggestions that can be recommended for further research of this study are it is expected to enhance this study with a larger population and with addition of research instrument measurement method in forms of observation and direct interviews with mothers and adolescents.
