HUBUNGAN PELAKSANAAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK DENGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAAN PASIEN YANG DILAKUKAN PEMBEDAHAN ELEKTIF DI RUMAH SAKIT IBU DAN ANAK IPHI BATU
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Therapeutic communication services have a strategic position in determining the quality of health services in hospitals, appropriate and standardized services will provide satisfaction for patients to assess hospital performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the implementation of therapeutic communication and the level of satisfaction of patients who performed elective surgery at the IPHI Batu Mother and Child Hospital. The research design uses correlational design with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 30 patients with the determination process using purposive sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is the Spearman rank test using SPSS. The results of the study prove that most of the (66.7%) respondents get good therapeutic communication and most (80.0%) respondents are satisfied with elective surgery, while the spearman rank results are p-value = 0.000 <α (0.05) or H1 is accepted, meaning "there is a relationship between the implementation of therapeutic communication and the level of satisfaction of patients who have elective surgery at the IPHI Batu Maternal and Child Hospital". Thus in providing therapeutic communication services, nurses must be based on nursing standards to create patient satisfaction
