PERBEDAAN TINGKAT KOGNITIF MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS TRIBHUWANA TUNGGADEWI MALANG TAHUN ANGKATAN 2017 SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PEMBELAJARAN RESUSITASI JANTUNG PARU (RJP) ANAK (1-8 TAHUN) DENGAN MEDIA VIDEO
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Learning cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with video media needs to be applied to nursing students because as one of the health workers who are ready to help victims of cardiac arrest, especially in (1-8 Years) if at any time there. Nursing students who get RJP learning for children (1-8 years) are able to improve cognitive knowledge so that when applying it when a victim of cardiac arrest occurs. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in cognitive level of knowledge of Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University Nursing Students in 2017 before and after RJP Children (1-8 Years) with video media. The research design useddesign pre-experimental with one-group pre-post test design. The population in this study were 130 students with the determination of research samples using accidental sampling so that a sample of 57 units of Unitri Nursing 2017 students were obtained. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis method used is paired t test using SPSS. The results of the study proved that before learning RJP children (1-8 years) with video media most of the (68.4%) respondents had sufficient cognitive level of knowledge in the category and after RJP learning children (1-8 years) with video media mostly (64.9%) respondents have a good level of cognitive knowledge in categories. The test results paired t test was obtained p-value= (0.000) <(0.050) so that it can be concluded that there are differences in the cognitive level of students' knowledge of Nursing Unitri in force in 2017 before and after the learning CPR children (1-8 years) with video media. Based on the results of the study, Nursing students need to learn the action of Cardiac Resuscitation (CPR) to help children (1-8 years) when experiencing cardiac arrest.
