INTERVENSI PENCEGAHAN STIGMA SOSIAL COVID-19 MELALUI CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT (COPE) PADA MASYARAKAT KOTA

Abstract

Latar belakang : Kasus Covid-19 saat ini memberikan dampak secara psikologis dan mental pada masyarakat. Dampak tersebut seperti tekanan, piskologis, ketidakberdayaan, panik, stres, depersi hingga muncul pikiran negatif berupa stigma di masyarakat. Tujuan : Menganalisis pengaruh intervensi pencegahan stigma sosial Covid-19 melalui Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE). Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi masyarakat yang berdampak Covid-19 di daerah Kota dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel sebanyak 86 responden yang terbagi dalam 43 responden kelompok intervensi dan 43 responden kelompok kontrol. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner tentang stigma sosial untuk mencagah Covid-19. Analsis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji mann-withney. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann whtiney didapatkan hasil ada Pengaruh Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE) terhadap Stigma Sosial Covid-19 pada kelompok kontrol. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol didapatkan hasil tidak ada Pengaruh Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE) terhadap Stigma Sosial Covid-19. Dan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Stigma Sosial Covid-19 setelah diberikan Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE) antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan : Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE) mampu mengurangi stigma sosial Covid-19
