HUBUNGAN KEPRIBADIAN GURU DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI TK BHANI AHMAD TLOGO INDAH KELURAHAN TLOGOMAS
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Language is a means to convey a notion of juice to others. Language skills of children preschool age is very dependent on the stimulant given. The teacher's personality greatly affect stimulation in children through learning methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the personality of the teacher with the development of speech and language skills of children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Bhani Ahmad Tlogo Beautiful, Village Tlogomas, Malang. The study design using the correlation design. The population in this study students in kindergarten Bhani Ahmad as many as 24 children and a sample using a total sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and observation. Data analysis method used is Chi-square test using SPSS. The results showed the teacher's personality, most of which as many as 17 children (70.83%) assess that their teachers be categorized as having a good personality, the development of children's language abilities, most of which as many as 17 children (70.83%) categorized as good, and Chi -Square obtained p value = 0.009 <α (0.05) which means that the data was significant and H1 accepted. This means that there is a relationship between the personality of the teacher with the development of language skills of children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Bhani Ahmad Tlogo Beautiful, Village Tlogomas, Malang. Thus the teacher is not only required to give priority to the theory and methods used in teaching, but need to pay attention to and improve his personality in educating thus making headway in the development of children's language abilities.
