KAITAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK USIA 3-4 TAHUN DI PAUD MAWAR KELURAHAN TLOGOMAS MALANG
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Giving balanced nutrition in children is very important to support optimal development. Where a nutrient intake in children is not met then can disrupt concentration and ability to learn. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between nutritional status with cognitive development in children aged 3-4 years in early Mawar childhood village Tlogomas Malang. The research method in this study is the correlation analytic method using cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 34 children and sampled using the sampling means the total number of population sampled. Data collection techniques used were Body weight / Body height and observation sheet. Data analysis method used is Bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results showed that the majority (85.3%) of the respondents were 29 normal nutritional status of people so that both the respondent's cognitive development as well as many as 24 people, a small proportion (8.8%) of the respondents were obese 3-nourished people that cognitive development makes categories well as 3 and (5.9%) of the respondents skinny nourished by 2 people that cognitive development is categorized quite as much as 2 people. Can result in perhitung p-value = 0.01 <α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship with the Nutritional Status of Childhood Cognitive Development In Early Mawar Childhood Years 3-4 Village Tlogomas Malang. Some suggestions are recommended for further research of this thesis may be useful as a reference to further investigate the nutritional status of the relationship with cognitive development in children.
