1. JISIP was indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) this year.
2. This year, JISIP has added several internationally qualified editors and reviewers from various countries to improve the quality of its publications. JISIP also publishes collaborative articles between countries to ensure a wider distribution and higher quality.
3. We also customized the template by adding a CC BY-SA 4.0 license to show the journal's policies, article history, and sample APA-style citations.

To improve the quality and distribution of its publications, JISIP signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU/MoA/IA) with Asosiasi Pengelola Jurnal Komunikasi Indonesia (APJIKI) and the Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) DPD Jawa Timur.
This year, JISIP began publishing English-language articles in collaboration with the Language Laboratory at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University. We are also recruiting several international editors and reviewers to support the quality of the articles and their international distribution.

JISIP adds editors and reviewers from various universities in Indonesia to improve the quality of publications. We have also customized the template by placing the logo on the top of the article's first page to make the journal's identity more prominent and create an artistic impression.
This year, the Journal of Social and Political Sciences (JISIP) was accredited with SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology No. 0187/E5.3/HM.01.00/2023 on March 12, 2023, starting from Volume 10, Number 2 of 2021 up to Volume 15, Number 2026.

JISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (e-Journal) reapplied for journal accreditation and was rejected. JISIP was asked to make revisions, especially in naming journals and data differences in the ISSN data center. The data in ISSN JISIP journals are published twice a year, so improvements must be made. After correspondence with BRIN, the journal's name was changed to the Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (JISIP). This year, JISIP again applied for accreditation on the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture's Arjuna page.

JISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik is applying for Arjuna accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Based on the assessor's recommendation, the name was changed to JISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (e-Journal) because another University already owned the previous name.
Due to the large number of articles submitted, it was decided at a meeting of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences starting in 2021 that JISIP would consistently publish at least 10 articles in each publication number.

JISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik is published twice yearly because the previous year's publication numbers were excessive. This year, the editor-in-chief held an editorial meeting to make improvements so that JISIP could apply for accreditation as soon as possible.

JISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik is published four times a year due to writing Volume and Number errors. This year, the editor-in-chief changed and was undecided because the university was preparing a new organizational structure.

JISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik received ISSN 2442-6962 (Online - Electronic) from the Pusat Dokumentasi dan Informasi Ilmiah (PDII) - Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), which has now changed its name to Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) - Direktorat Repositori Multimedia dan Penerbitan Ilmiah Republik Indonesia. This year, JISIP has been published 3 times a year: April, August, and December.
